It has a 17¾" diameter flared base for increased load-bearing capacity and stability. It also comes with square footrests to relax your legs.

These chairs are great. I get so many compliments on them. They look expensive and feel nice. I don't have a dining room table, just an island, so I wanted to get chairs I wouldn't mind sitting in all the time. These are great and have held up very well. Highly recommend!
The stools arrived in excellent packaging with issue. The shipping was very fast and efficient. The material is excellent. We ordered the black leather. The assembly was so quick and smooth and the back of the stool is very comfortable to lean back on. Very happy with this purchase.
