Pretty, not practical

These chairs look great with soft velvet fabric and nice style, but they don't really sit great. The actual cushion (separate from the chair) has springs in it, which you feel on your bum within minutes. Pay attention to the 280 lb. weight limit, and I wouldn't come near that with those springs. The back is slightly curved, so again looks good, but uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes without a throw pillow. Might make decorative waiting room, etc., chairs, but veer away if you plan to spend any time in these.

Update: Have now had these chairs several weeks and really like them. Don't notice the springs anymore. They are a perfect height to put on socks, clip nails, tie shoes--anything to do with feet. I love them in my bedroom. I'd update to 5 staars.
